Auditions: ShakesBEER Series

Do you revel in Shakespeare's Plays? Do you thrive on engaging with an enthusiastic audience? If so, we would love to get to know you and your work through our ShakesBEER Enhanced Reading Series auditions on August 17th.

Auditions will be onsite with our venue partner: The Alley Stage in Marrietta, GA. Auditions will include a prepared, 60-90 second monologue of your choice (from a play by Shakespeare or one of his contemporaries), and a cold read from one of this season's plays.

What is ShakesBEER? We're so glad you asked! ShakesBEER is an "enhanced reading" meaning our actors carry the scripts in binders throughout the performance. We utilize streamlined adaptations of Shakespeare’s best plays to create a rollicking, immersive environment of audience participation, drinking games, and stirring (slightly tipsy) performances. It’s a great time!
